Moving to Florida in 2012, I discovered the many cool bike trails in this area. Exploring on foot could only get me so far so I bought a bike, a Townie Cruiser. In 7 years, I rode over 20,000 miles exploring trails all over Florida.

During that time, I led many friends on bike outings, showing them the places I had discovered. They were impressed with the routes I took them on, and the out-of-the-way points of interest I showed them.
In 2019 it seemed electric bikes were everywhere. After months of research, I purchased one. What a difference! I could go on longer adventures and new areas were now within reach.

I had a dream of sharing these adventures, but I needed to know if this was a feasible goal. This is when I met Greg Giesecke, owner of Electric Spinz Bike Shops in Seminole and Dunedin. We clicked immediately and I went to work for him selling, renting and servicing electric bikes.

I’ve talked with many customers to gain deeper insights into their expectations when renting electric bikes from us. They frequently ask about destinations, distances, estimated travel times, activities available upon arrival and dining options. They’re looking for adventure.
